How did the idea for this DermoAesthetic Center come about?

The idea came as a result of our desire to expand the range of services we offer, and based on the increasing demand from patients for safe, effective, and personalized solutions for dermoesthetic care.

Last year, for the first time in Albania in the private outpatient diagnostic sector, Intermedica, at the forefront of prevention and the earliest possible diagnosis of breast cancer, installed in its Diagnostic Center a state-of-the-art mammography system with the most advanced 3D tomosynthesis with contrast technology from the Japanese company “Fuji”, a system based on Artificial Intelligence applications.

In combination with breast elastography using the “Matrix” technology of the LOGIQ E-10 ultrasound device from the American company “General Electric”, which is the only one installed in Albania to date, Intermedica also became a center of excellence for breast examination.

We realized that we want to stand even closer to our patients, emphasizing that prevention through diagnosis guarantees longevity and health, but in this case why not also aesthetics and beauty.

Built on strong foundations of professionalism and trust, Intermedica has the right potential to position itself as the ideal partner in a revolution of healthy beauty and to create a space where quality, technology, and client care are at the core of our objectives.

The center is equipped with the latest generation devices, according to the highest standards. We can mention here only a few applications, as the range of services provided will be very broad.

In our center, the first and only laser has been installed which, thanks to the exclusive Quanta Mixed Technology®, combines the gold-standard wavelengths of 10,600 nm and 1,540 nm in a fractional, sequential, or simultaneous emission.

When these two wavelengths are emitted together, the advantages of each laser are maximized, achieving visible results in a single session. Skin with wrinkles and pigmentations, scars or even vaginal atrophy are optimally treated by Mixed Technology, with advanced results and without the need for a long recovery time.

This is the first and only laser that combines the ablative CO₂ laser and the non-ablative GaAs laser, which can be used separately or in an exclusive Mixed Mode, allowing professionals to offer the right and personalized treatment for each patient.

We also have the latest laser platform for vascular treatments, hair removal and other procedures with fast and effective results and a short recovery time.

This technology is among the best in the world thanks to its 3 wavelengths (532 nm, Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1,064 nm) and the exclusive Quanta Mixed Technology®.

We must also mention the first system for scalp and hair examination (trichoscopy) performed with Artificial Intelligence (AI), which is the first example of the use of AI in support of medical diagnosis.

As the first trichoscopy system of its kind, this device performs an immediate analysis of the images captured from the patient’s scalp and hair.

I would like to emphasize that everything is carried out under the care of a dermatologist with many years of experience in aesthetics and dermatology – but we will leave the name as a pleasant surprise for all of you.

Intermedica will offer almost all services in the field of dermatology and aesthetics. We can mention here the laser for treating skin laxity and wrinkles, acne scars, wound scars, as well as laser procedures for effective treatment of vaginal atrophy and laxity.

It is worth highlighting the use of an automated full-body mapping system for patients with a high predisposition to develop moles and who need continuous monitoring.

By using this digital mole mapping system, dermatologists can more easily distinguish new moles or those that are changing rapidly – one of the possible warning signs of melanoma. Alongside the trained eye of the dermatologist, we also have technology and artificial intelligence to track these subtle changes.

In addition to permanent hair removal, the laser installed at our center is designed to offer more solutions for a wide range of dermatological problems such as rosacea, vascular lesions of the face and body, pigmented lesions, wrinkles and fine lines, reduction of acne scars, etc.

We also perform immediate analysis of images taken from the patient’s scalp and hair, providing important data that allow the dermatologist to recommend a personalized treatment. This is the first scalp and hair examination system (trichoscopy) carried out by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

What distinguishes the center is the multidisciplinary approach, personalized medical protocols, and the commitment of a specialized staff trained on an ongoing basis, building every treatment on a detailed analysis according to the needs of each client.

It is essential that dermoesthetic treatments be performed by professionals. Safety is our priority. As in every field of medicine, this area also requires knowledge, experience, and dedication from experienced physicians. Every procedure at Intermedica is carried out by trained professionals, using internationally certified products and devices approved by the relevant health authorities. As in every unit of our network, here too we apply standardized protocols in daily practice to guarantee the minimization of any risk.

Every patient undergoes an in-depth skin evaluation with spectral analysis devices, which help us understand the internal condition of the skin, beyond what can be seen with the naked eye by our dermatologist. Based on this analysis, a personalized treatment plan is created, aimed at safe and long-term results.

Absolutely yes. We know that every skin has its own typology. Skin care is not just a luxury, but a necessity, and for this reason every treatment is built through a prior consultation with the physician and is carried out based on his findings and the patient’s objectives, whether for aesthetic improvement or for pronounced dermatological issues.

Yes, the center also offers advanced mini-invasive treatments such as microneedling with PRP, mesotherapy, fillers – all performed under the care of licensed physicians and with certified ingredients. These are applied when non-invasive treatments are not sufficient to achieve the desired results.

Among the main trends we apply are bio-revitalizing technologies, the use of micro-encapsulated serums, and treatments based on anti-aging protocols with a natural approach and minimal downtime.

We use only dermatological product lines that are internationally approved, with controlled pharmaceutical-grade compositions and free from parabens or highly allergenic substances. Every product is selected based on skin analysis and tailored to each skin type.

Our staff includes licensed dermatologists with long experience, trained aestheticians and certified medical device operators. Intermedica’s service is not based solely on technology, but on the professionalism of the people behind it and their continuous training.
